The Astrolabium and Tellurium are models of our solar system, and show the motion of the earth around the sun and the moon around the earth.

The dial is round with an exquisite laser cut center pattern. The quartz regulated astrolabium has a month and zodiac disc and sun, moon and earth spheres. Through the visible gear train the astrolabium clock movement reproduces the annual orbit of the earth around the sun, with the earth rotating on its axis once in 24 hours and the moon revolving around the earth in 29.5 days. In the course of a year, the earth passes all twelve zodiac signs, months and individual days, which are indicated on the brass disc. Warranty: Two years. See enlarged view. The mechanical 8-day Westminster quarter hour bell chime movement with 11 jewel lever escapement and a automatic night shut-off activates the mechanism showing the movement of the sun, moon and earth in the course of the year. The antique finish solid wood case with front and back door, metal applications, pearl decor, brass columns and bevelled glasses is surmounted by a glass dome with hand cut stars. The rotating sun-god, earth globe, moon and zodiac signs are metal cast matching the color of the etched date disc. Enamel dial and filigree hands add the finishing touch to this exquisite piece.
